Hey, I'm Orin. I'm a senior here at Hamline studying Environmental Studies with a twinge of Anthropology and Spanish. This week I have been enjoying awkwardly making new friends (of older friends), actually applying my class reading to my life, performing poetry, and biking around in this unusually warm winter. I'm anticipatory about collaborating with two of my fiends (separately) on talked-about visual art projects in the near future.
Although it's my last semester here, I'm really excited to be spending spring break in San Francisco. I think a lot about the whats and hows of food in my life and about food justice in my immediate and extended neighborhoods. I plan on working on food justice issues here in the Twin Cities when I graduate, and I'll be looking for good ideas to bring back from the west coast.
